Pets are not permitted on common property of Baker Lofts premises
unless on a leash or in a cage/carrier. Common property includes,
but is not limited to, hallways, parking lots, and outdoor green spaces.

Tenants are responsible for keeping all common areas clean, safe and
free of parasites. Pet owners must immediately pick up and dispose
of all pet waste. Owners found responsible by the Board of not cleaning
up will be asked to remove their pets permanently.

The tenant shall be liable for any damage or injury whatsoever caused
by pet(s) and shall pay the Association immediately for any costs
incurred as a result of damage or injury caused.
5.
The tenant accepts full responsibility and indemnifies the association
for any claims by or injuries to third parties or their property caused
by or as a result of actions by their pet(s).
6.
Owners must maintain appropriate tags for all pets. It is unlawful
in Ottawa County for a person to own a dog six months or older that
does not wear a collar and tag at all times, except when engaged in
hunting activities accompanied by his or her owner.

No pet is to remain unattended, without proper care, for more than
24 hours. In instances where a pet appears to have been abandoned
for more than 24 hours, and an emergency contact cannot be located,
the Association shall report the matter to the Ottawa County Animal
Control (http://www.miottawa.org/CourtsLE/Sheriff/animalcontrol.htm).
8.
Pets are NOT allowed in the grilling area on the patio. Pets must
stay outside the pines in the grassy area. This is to ensure a clean
and safe environment for those preparing and consuming food in that
area.
9.
If a pet bites another tenant, the owner will be asked to remove the
pet from the building immediately and permanently and the incident
will be reported to Ottawa County Animal COntrol (http://www.miottawa.org/CourtsLE/Sheriff/animalcontrol.htm).
10.
If the Association receives multiple complaints regarding your pet(s),
the Association may ask you to remove your pet(s) from the building
permanently.
11.
Visiting pets are bound by the same rules and are not allowed to remain
on the premise for more than 48 hours in a given week.
